The DLC aims to provide consistent and accessible professional learning opportunities for all teachers with a primary focus on meeting the needs of diverse learners. We believe that professional learning should be:

  • INCLUSIVE of diverse learners 

  • RESPONSIVE to unique school and student needs 

  • GROUNDED in research and evidence-based best practices 

  • COLLABORATIVE with opportunities to build and grow connections
    with peers

  • ENGAGING with multiple, interactive opportunities to practice what
    we’ve learned 

  • SUPPORTIVE, pushing beyond a one time “sit-and-get” model to
    include pre- and post-communication and solution finding
