DLC Coaching
Connect your teachers, leaders, and teams to the personalized development they need to improve practices for diverse learners.
In addition to Flipped PD and group facilitated learning opportunities, the DLC offers coaching packages for teachers and leaders. Coaching offers a consistent, context-based opportunity for the mentee to access targeted feedback and the resources they need to continuously improve their practice. Coaching may take a variety of forms; here are a few that have been employed by school partners successfully:
1:1 Leader Consultation: Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly consultations with student supports leaders, coordinators, or directors with specific aims in developing leadership and team capacity in serving the school’s diverse learners
1:1 Teacher Coaching: Weekly or bi-weekly observation and feedback cycles with follow-up resources and plan reviews with the goal of developing instructional best practices and student success
Group Coaching: Bi-weekly or monthly facilitation of a Professional Learning Community with aims of developing team capacity to lead improvement for the grade level/school’s diverse learners
